Watching #Drawwithme Danny Gregory @ Sketchbook Skool while doodling some Whistle Blowers.

Experimenting with Derwent Inktense Pencils in Strathmore 500 Series Mixed Media Journal.

A few pages of just doodling Wacky Birds and Quirky Birds.

Some birds from inspired by Pinterest and some by Tamara Laporte (She does the Quirky Birds).

#DrawWithMe Thursdays with Danny Gregory with Lucinda

While Lucinda Rogers sketched the view out her window, she was interviewed by Danny Gregory on #DrawWithMe. (The youtube clip is live and there are audio issues at the beginning.) She first used ink with a brush to establish bold lines and then filled in the detail with a dip pen and ink. A touch of color was added with pencil.

I sketched the view out my window, also. Here the tree service was taking down a dead tree in the front yard. The man in the bucket was so high up that he doesn't appear in the picture but the limb that he was dropping does.

#SBSColoredPencil #DrawWithMe #Cute

Thursdays at noon is #DrawWithMe with Danny Gregory on YouTube. This week's theme was "Cute". While in California, Danny drew his grand-dog, Penny, on his iPad. I chose to follow along but drew with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils in a Crescent Rendr marker sketchbook. I blended the pencil marks with an alcohol marker blender.
