A sketch from 2009 "Every Day Matters" #125 Draw a Bird. It was a windy day on the beach and the gull's feathers were all-a-ruffle. You can tell it's a Herring Gull by the red spot on the beak. (Mixed Media in Canson 140 lbs Watercolor Paper Hard Cover Journal)
