#MyCanterburyCoddiwomples #The100DayProject Day #31/100 Hexagonal-Pored Polypore

Today I found a polypore mushroom with strange pores so I looked in the guide to find that it is a hexagonal-pored polypore mushroom, perhaps Neofavolus alveolaris, also called Polyporus alveolaris, or  Polyporus mori. I like Polyporus mori because it's the easiest to remember. You may call it anything that you wish.

Hexagonal pores.

The smaller polypore.

I have to include a bit of interesting lichen next to the polypore.

What's a Zoomy?
