Phyto-singularity: a plant population of one, as when you search an area of 8 acres of woods and wetlands for 2 months and finally find a singular Symplocarpus foetidus, or eastern skunk cabbage, plant which leads to investigative inquiry as to its origin considering that there are no other individuals present in the community.
