edm #250 Paperwhites

edm #250 draw something you got for free. I was at my friend's house admiring her paperwhites and she gave me one! This is the bottom half. Wet-on-wet watercolor pencils.

  5. Lovely, delicate color. I particularly enjoy the way you handled the roots on the bulb.

  11. LOL, I was embarrassed because I didn't know what a paperwhite was, but at least I'm in good company! These are very well done. You are quite good with the watercolor pencils!

  12. Delish! Wonderful work. I adore watercolor pencil work, and you've really GOT it. (Did you take Kate's class in it by any chance?)

  13. No, but I do have her books! I learned a lot from my friend Sheila, who worked with Clair Walker Leslie. And from Claudia Nice's books. And just playing around in my sketchbook! Right now, I'm experimenting with lots of wet-on-wet. Wet pencils on wet pages, lots of fun.
